Category II: Poetry
In the night I stand.
Without a fan,
or no one really to lend me a hand.
Is that so? I whisper confused
as the memories of my life begin to ooze.
In every memory my mom is there
as if she was the sun up in the air.
I as the earth wander about,
but her radiance is there without a doubt.
My mom is the one who changed my life.
She started the motors who gave me my flight.
I have not once stood alone at night,
she was rooming in my heart, just not in sight.

The Person Who Changed My Life
is My Mother
I am the first child from my Mother,
Our bond together is like no other.
I help around the house,
and also when we go to the store,
helping her out is fund and it
doesn't feel like a chore.
My mother cook my favorite food
and put me in fantastic mood.
 |
My mother likes
to talk to her
friend on her spare time,
She likes to laugh it help
her to unwinded. |
My mother came to this country
for a better life for me,
and I will prove it to her
