Board Meetings
All current Maryland TESOL members are welcome to attend the monthly board
meeting. Please contact Janet Schreibstein if you would like to attend
schreibs at comcast dot net Meetings begin at 5:30 pm and usually end
by 7:30 pm.
Meetings will be held at the Howard
Community College, Columbia Gateway Campus, except where noted.

FROM BALTIMORE, WASHINGTON, AND POINTS NORTH AND SOUTH
(I-95):
HCC's Gateway Campus is located about halfway between Baltimore and Washington,
DC. Take I-95 to exit 41-B (MD Route 175 West). On MD Route 75, drive
0.25 miles and exit onto Gateway Drive. Drive about 0.5 miles to six-story
office building on the left. BTC is on the first floor.
FROM ANNAPOLIS, EASTERN SHORE (I-97):
Take US 50 West to I-97 North. Drive 14 miles, exit onto MD Route 100
West. Drive 8 miles, exit onto I-95 South. Take next exit onto MD Route
175 West. On MD Route 175, drive 0.25 miles and exit onto Gateway Drive.
Drive about 0.5 miles to six-story office building on the left. BTC is
on the first
floor.
FROM CARROLL, FREDERICK, NORTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES
(I-70):
Take I-70, East, exit onto US Route 29 South. Drive 5 miles, exit to MD
Route 175 East (Jessup). Drive 3 miles, exit onto Gateway Drive. Drive
about 0.5 miles to six-story office building on the left. BTC is on the
first floor.
FROM SILVER SPRING, BURTONSVILLE, LAUREL (US Route
29):
Take US Route 29 North and exit to MD Route 175 East (Jessup). Drive 3
miles, exit onto Gateway Drive. Drive about 0.5 miles to six-story office
building on the left. BTC is on the first floor.
August 17 Board Meeting
This board meeting will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 5:30pm
at the Loyola Columbia Campus, room 330. Please note that this is a change
from our usual location. We will be meeting at Loyola because that is
where our November 4th conference will take place. By meeting here, we
will have a chance to see the layout of the building as we make our plans

. Look for the “Graduate Center at the Columbia campus.”
One of our first goals as a new board is to gain group cohesiveness so
that we can work together efficiently and comfortably. To help us reach
this goal, we will have a social hour/dinner immediately after adjournment
of the August 17th Board meeting. I hope that everyone can make it to
both the meeting and the social afterwards.
